Captain: Lyubomir Stoyanov
Captain Stoyanov was born in 1975 in Bulgaria. He is working in the yachting industry since 2009. He started off as a personal assistant and translator for an owner of a 90-meter private yacht cruising the Mediterranean, Thailand, Maldives, and French Polynesia. From then on, he understood that he was destined to become a sailor himself. So, with each new employee, he could gain more sailing experience until finally getting his RYA/MCA/MYA Yacht Master Ocean with full Commercial endorsement. He is very people-oriented, reliable, sociable, and focused on technical details without fuss. His wide range of positions made him professional in all different tasks on board and his exceptional organizational skills make his yacht super effective for chartering. He speaks Bulgarian, English, Russian, and German. He has an engaging personality and professionalism that welcomes guests and creates an excellent environment for relaxation and fun. Lyubomir is eager to show guests the beauty of the Greek islands and for them to create lasting memories onboard ANGEL.
Chief Officer: STANIMIR KARADZHOV
Stanimir is a highly experienced Chief Officer with over 17 years in yachting, having worked on some of the industry’s most prestigious superyachts up to 90m+. With extensive global cruising and charter experience, he plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining the highest standards onboard.
Known for his calm and professional approach, Stanimir oversees deck operations, crew coordination, and safety procedures with precision and reliability. His strong leadership and problem-solving skills ensure that everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes, contributing to a safe and enjoyable experience for guests.
With a background in both busy charter programs and complex refit projects, he brings valuable technical knowledge and attention to detail, ensuring the yacht is always presented at its best.
Chief Stewardess: ANGELINA DIMITROVA
Angelina is an experienced and highly professional Chief Stewardess with a strong background on both private and charter yachts up to 100m. With years of experience leading interior teams, she is dedicated to delivering a seamless and refined guest experience, ensuring every detail onboard is handled with care and precision.
Known for her calm, organised approach, Angelina manages all aspects of interior operations—from immaculate housekeeping to elegant table settings and attentive service—creating a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere throughout each charter.
Her warm personality, combined with excellent communication skills and fluency in several languages, allows her to connect easily with international guests and anticipate their needs with discretion and efficiency.
With a passion for hospitality and a commitment to high standards, Angelina ensures that every guest enjoys a relaxed, comfortable, and memorable experience onboard.
Deckhand: ALEKSANDAR MINKOV
Aleksandar is a motivated and professional deckhand with a strong maritime background, bringing both commercial shipping experience and yachting expertise to the team. With solid navigation knowledge and hands-on deck skills, he contributes to the safe and efficient operation of the yacht at all times.
Having recently worked on a modern Sunreef sailing yacht, Aleksandar is confident in all aspects of deck duties, including maintenance, mooring, anchoring, tender driving, and watersports assistance. His proactive attitude and attention to detail ensure the yacht is always presented to a high standard for guests.
Calm, reliable, and eager to learn, he integrates seamlessly into the crew and supports both operations and guest activities with a positive, can-do approach. His friendly and professional manner helps create a smooth and enjoyable experience onboard.
Chef: ILIAS BAREKAS
Chef Ilias Barekas is a highly experienced and creative Executive Chef who brings a refined, guest-focused dining experience onboard. With an extensive background across luxury yachts and cruise vessels, he is known for delivering beautifully presented dishes tailored to each guest’s preferences.
Specialising in Mediterranean cuisine with strong international influences, Ilias offers a diverse and flexible culinary style, from fresh, healthy dishes to indulgent fine dining. His passion for food is matched by his attention to detail, ensuring every meal is both memorable and perfectly suited to the occasion.
Calm, organised, and highly professional, he runs an efficient and immaculate galley, creating a seamless dining experience throughout the charter. His ability to cater to a wide range of dietary requirements, combined with his creativity and consistency, makes him a key part of the onboard experience.
