As a seasoned engineer and avid angler, his expertise is shaped by his extensive time spent aboard charter yachts, where he has navigated the unique engineering challenges of life on the water. Fish's commitment to safety, paired with his in-depth knowledge of yacht systems, guarantees a seamless and worry-free experience for everyone on board.

Fish is also an avid extreme angler, eager to share the thrill of the catch with guests. Whether he's troubleshooting an engine or guiding you to the best fishing spots, Fish is committed to making your stay aboard Chanson enjoyable, safe, and memorable.

Chief Stewardess: Melina Leblanc

Melina is a French Canadian originally from Montreal, Canada, who found her true calling on the stunning island of Barbados. It was here that her passion for the ocean flourished and her fascination with the Yachting Industry began to take shape. Eager to deepen her understanding, Melina became maritime certified and subsequently moved to Fort Lauderdale. There, she secured her first position on a 52M superyacht, marking the beginning of an exciting journey in the industry. With eight years of experience across both private and charter yachts, Melina brings a wealth of knowledge to the interior team, ensuring that each guest’s needs are expertly met. Her warm, welcoming, and bubbly personality creates a comforting atmosphere that makes every guest feel at home. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and cherishing moments with her husband and their beloved cat.

Chef: Lamonie Simpson

Lamonie grew up in Philadelphia, where his passion for food blossomed at an early age. To refine his culinary skills, he attended Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, NC, and soon embarked on a career as a traveling Private Chef, crafting unforgettable dining experiences. His culinary journey brought him to Fort Lauderdale, where he secured his first freelance chef position and discovered his love for yachting. Each of Lamonie’s creations tells a unique story, drawing inspiration from his adventures, a passion for visual art, and a deep appreciation for nature. Whether preparing an intimate dinner beneath the stars, an extravagant five-course meal, or a family-style feast, Lamonie is dedicated to fulfilling every guest's culinary desires.

Stewardess: Janettte Ruman

Janette, originally from Poland and Ukraine, has spent the past few years in Spain, where her proximity to the sea sparked a deep passion for yachting. With extensive experience in the hospitality industry both ashore and onboard, Janette is committed to providing guests with attentive, professional care, always delivered with a warm and welcoming smile.

Beyond her role on the yacht, Janette has a keen interest in psychology, health, and wellness. During her time off, she loves staying active, whether it’s paddle boarding, beach outings, or exploring new ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Her dedication to hospitality and enthusiasm for a vibrant, balanced life make her an invaluable addition to your experience aboard.

Deckhand: Zander Tamayo

Zander hails from Walvis Bay, Namibia—a unique desert town nestled along the coast. His deep-rooted passion for the ocean and adventurous spirit steered him toward the Yachting Industry. Although he's relatively new to this field, Zander is a fast learner with an enthusiastic drive for personal and professional growth. He thrives on various water-related activities, with fishing standing out as a favorite pastime. On deck, Zander takes great pride in tasks like painting, polishing, and varnishing, always ensuring a polished finish. Committed to delivering exceptional experiences, he is dedicated to making every guest’s time onboard truly memorable.

In his spare time, George loves staying active—whether he’s playing basketball, jogging, biking, or relaxing on the beach. His enthusiasm and attention to detail make him a valuable part of the CHANSON team.

Engineer: Mike Partin

Mike hails from Norfolk, Virginia, and embodies the spirit of an outdoor enthusiast. His passion for fishing and the great outdoors naturally guided him to the world of sailing, where he navigated his

way up to working on yachts. With a strong background in engineering, Mike excels at ensuring that every vessel is meticulously maintained and in top condition. Guests can relax with confidence,

knowing that their safety is in expert hands whenever Mike is on board.
