“It was a truly great achievement of Chef Jess to show herself so quickly into the deep end and produce a superb lunch for us all at such short notice and with so little time on the yacht.
I thought the menu was perfect for a broker lunch - cleverly themed and demonstrating her full range of skills. I can see why Captain Geoff was so keen to have her onboard. She definitely brings a level of quality and finesse that you would not expect to find on a yacht of SEALEN B’s size. She definitely punches above her weight! I was also impressed by Rose’s wine pairings.

“I thoroughly enjoyed the lunch onboard SEALEN B. It's always a pleasure when someone takes the time to cook for you, and I couldn't find much to fault. The service was excellent, with the crew supporting each other, including the captain pitching in, which was heartwarming as I believe it shows a lot, especially with a small crew.
The portion sizes were just right, (at least for myself!) and the selection of dishes was well-suited for the warm day, avoiding anything too heavy. I appreciated the chef's attention to detail, especially in accommodating my gluten-free requirements.
While the appetizers felt a tad heavy and dry for my taste, the flavours were still delightful. I must say, I admired the bespoke crockery and the overall presentation of the meal, really adding a nice touch!

“I wanted to write to thank you very much for the lovely lunch yesterday on SEALEN B. It was great to meet you properly this week too. The yacht is looking wonderful. Cabins looked larger than I thought they’d be and I think converting the wardrobe into a bunk room was a good call.
The lunch was delicious and seriously impressive of the “2-day old” chef Jess to be able to produce such a delicious 4 course menu. If I had to find a negative, I would say the service wasn’t quite superyacht service but I know the vibe is different on a sailing yacht and especially with only 4 crew members.” - Broker

“Thought the portion sizes were great and for someone who does not normally like/ eat deserts... I thought the lemon tart was fantastic! My only comment would be that the service was rather slow and the Captain was having to offer an extra set of hands. However, the Captain helping out shows that the team effort is there! I also appreciate that this was Jess's first job on a yacht as a chef and for that I think she did a mega job. All in all, a great lunch!” - Broker
