Tortuga's comfortable interior layout sleeps up to 7 guests in 3 staterooms, including a full beam King master suite with large windows that open and offer panoramic views for an open air experience , 1 queen cabin and 1 twin cabin that converts to a king. All guest rooms have ensuite bathrooms/showers. A fresh interior refit includes a modernized interior, top of the line electronics and sumptuous seating throughout creates an elegant and comfortable atmosphere. The Sky Lounge features fully enclosed (and Air conditioned) helm station on flybridge. Also has comfortable seating for 8-10 with amazing 360 views while cruising. At the dock it creates another huge entertainment zone with additional TV/Stereo/BBQ Grill /Bar/ice maker. She tows a large 37' Intrepid perfect for cruising those scheduled areas! This is an 82 footer that lives like 100'+!
Crew Profile
Captain: Bryan Kattenburg
Bryan was born in San Francisco, California and raised in the East Bay in a city called Walnut Creek.
Bryan grew up around the water and is passionate about water sports such as: kiteboarding,
wakeboarding, diving, spear fishing and more. Bryan has been working in the yachting industry for over
11 years and has worked on vessels over 150’ for the majority of his career. He holds a 200/500 ton
Master USCG license and has cruised the Mediterranean, Central America, Caribbean, and extensively
in the Bahamas. Bryan is a certified diver with a rescue diver endorsement. Taking the guests to some
of the best destinations in the world and showing them the amazing underwater life is what Bryan lives
for. Bryan loves to create great experiences for the guests onboard so they will remember their trip
forever. Bryan and his crew will be looking forward to future adventures with great guests onboard.
Mate: Matt Davey
The hardest working guy on the boat is Mate, Matt Davey. Matt also has his 200T RYA Yachtmaster
license and has traveled the Med, East and West Coast US, Canada and extensively in the Bahamas.
He was born in Massachusetts, but raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Matt has a great eye for detail and a
positive attitude. Matt brings great value to everyone onboard and will ensure all guests feel safe and
prepared for their beach and watersport adventures. He is always happy to lend a hand wherever he
can. With over 7 years in the yachting industry Matt is a competent crewman in all areas of the vessel,
and will ensure all guests are looked after. Matt looks forward to meeting the new guests on M/Y
Tortuga.
