Captain: Christopher Ywyman
Born and raised in beautiful Kwa-Zulu Natal where he inherited his father’s love of the great
outdoors! After returning from the Angolan War and nearly a decade in the Educational
Department Chris moved to the United States in 1999 to seek fortune and fame! Soon he
found it on Yachts with open horizons, plenty of blue water, sunshine and exotic landscapes!
During the last 23 years Chris captained Motor Yachts ranging from 35m -56m in various
locations around the globe, completing several transatlantic crossings. His professional
voyages took him to many famous destinations spread throughout the Caribbean, Med and
both North and South America.
Chris has been recognized for his great boat handling and outstanding guest relations making
sure MY Romeo Foxtrot’s guest preferences, safety and well-being are his utmost priority. He
is very dedicated to both his guests and his crew.
While not attending to his professional duties, Chris enjoys diving, fishing, reading and
indulging in great world cuisine.
He is looking forward to welcoming you on board for your next adventure.
Chief Stewardess: Alex Estko
Alex joined the yachting industry in 2007 while completing her degree in Journalism. Her
love of the written word and the need for creative expression never left her as she passionately
pursued her career working on yachts in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, USA , Middle East
and South East Asia. Since 2009 she has worked as a Chief Stewardess on yachts ranging from
35m to 56m.
Recognized for her keen eye for detail, excellent organizational and hospitality skills, Alex
ensures MY Romeo Foxtrot’s guests are well looked after and pampered while on board. She
is equipped with a wide range of skills and experiences in luxury lifestyle management and
event planning, meeting our guest’s highest expectations. Additionally she assists her husband
-Captain Chris with the day to day Yacht’s administration and accounting.
Alex loves reading, traveling, fashion, interior design and great world class cuisine.
Mate: Tristan Walshe
Tristan’s love of water sports developed at a very young age. Prior to leaving South Africa he
worked as a Wake-boarding Instructor. His passion for traveling brought him to the Yachting
Industry in 2019.
As he describes his determination and hard work helped him to work his way up the ranks and secure
a Mate’s position onboard MY Romeo Foxtrot.
In the last 3 years while gaining his experience and polishing up new skills, he got to know the
Bahamas and Caribbean well.
During your time on board you’ll find Tristan to be very friendly, helpful and approachable -
always striving to make your time on board a special and unique experience.
During his off time Tristan loves to stay active in the gym, race motocross and Day Trade with
Stocks and Crypto.
Deckhand: Michal Estko
Michal is no stranger to the world of the super-yachts as both of his older siblings
have been working in the Industry for the past 15 years and he couldn’t resist the
luring charms of yachting himself.
Born and raised in Poland, Michal joined the yachting industry permanently in
January 2022 in Florida. Previously he freelanced during Summer months in Turkey.
He is gaining more experience with each passing day.
He is calm, kind and always eager to assist.
Whenever not on duty Michal loves E-Sport , football, reading and traveling.
Stewardess: Charise Smith
Charise is 23 years old, psychology graduate from Johannesburg, South Africa.She is very
passionate about her studies and planning to further her education in a couple of years.
Charise joined yachting industry recently and she is very excited about this new chapter of her life. As she expresses in her own words: “This boat has already taught me so much and I would like to use this experience as a base to further my studies in doing my masters on Mental Health on board. I am very social and have a passion for people and look forward to the collection of experiences on this exceptional boat.”
Chef: Tim Bishop
Tim Bishop is a highly skilled and accomplished yacht chef known for his
culinary excellence and passion for creating unforgettable dining experiences.
With a decade of experience in the luxury yacht industry, Tim has earned a
reputation for his ability to combine exquisite flavors and creative presentations
for all guests.
Tim’s love for cooking started at a young age. Born on the coast of Long Island
Sound, the ocean is Tim’s happy place. From youth to present day he actively
participates in water sports, downhill skiing and mountain biking. In 2005 he
spent a year honing his skills under the expertise of two French men at a ski
resort in Vermont. In 2014 he relocated to Ft Lauderdale to pursue his dream of
working on yachts as a chef.
Tim is known for his warm personality, professionalism and dedication to client
satisfaction. He thrives on lasting relationships with his clientele.
