Born in South Africa and raised along the Kenyan coast, Justin developed a deep connection to the ocean from an early age. Justin began his yachting journey in the South of France, starting from the very bottom of the ladder as a deckhand. From there, he explored the coastlines of Europe gaining invaluable experience across some of the world’s most iconic cruising grounds before going on to conquer the islands of the Caribbean. Over the course of several years, he intentionally worked his way through each level and department, learning every aspect of yacht operations — from deck maintenance and tender driving to engineering support and guest services. His goal was simple: to understand the vessel as a whole, not just from the bridge. Through focus, consistency, and a hands-on leadership style, he progressed steadily into command. That foundation allows him to lead with perspective, empathy, and confidence — understanding exactly what it takes from every crew member to deliver an exceptional charter experience. Calm under pressure and detail-oriented by nature, Justin is passionate about creating a safe, seamless, and memorable time on board. Whether navigating coastal waters or overseeing the finer details of your stay, his priority is ensuring you feel completely at ease from the moment you step aboard.

Savannah Jay delivers a polished, high-end charter experience defined by precision, elegance, and intuitive service. With a refined eye for detail and a natural sense for luxury hospitality, she personalizes each guest’s stay with thoughtful touches. From impeccably styled tablescapes and seamless cabin presentation to discreet, anticipatory service, her approach is both sophisticated and warmly welcoming. Savannah Jay takes pride in creating an atmosphere where guests feel effortlessly cared for, ensuring every charter reflects the highest standards of boutique luxury.
Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, Savannah- Jay grew up with the ocean as a constant presence in her life. A former provincial swimmer and later a professional bodybuilder, discipline, resilience, and unwavering commitment became cornerstones of her character from an early age. Her competitive athletic background instilled in her an exceptional work ethic, precision, and mental strength — qualities that translate seamlessly into the fast-paced demands of the yachting industry. In 2012, she began traveling internationally, working within the fertility field. While her global travels broadened her perspective, the call of the sea remained strong. Drawn back to her lifelong love for the ocean, she transitioned into yachting, where she combines strength and grace with refined, detail-oriented service. Savannah- Jay brings a unique balance of power and poise to every vessel she steps aboard.
First Mate: Reichard Jacobs

Reichard (Ray) strengthens the already established Accidental Success team by providing a diverse trade skill set, a sharp eye for details and a unique personable character.
He grew up with the vast blue Indian ocean in sight from home in Somerset West, South Africa, where he would harbour many memories boating with his father and family. This led on to be the catalyst for his maritime career.
Having a natural ability for problem solving and physical activity he Qualified as a Technician through Jaguar Land Rover apprenticeship.
Ray has been at sea for 5 years as a professional crew member, through different programs and positions, travelling waters from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean.
He looks forward to providing you with the best care and comfort for your stay.
Chef: Danie Saayman

Originally from South Africa, Danie brings an exciting blend of elite performance and culinary creativity to your onboard experience. Before stepping into the galley, he enjoyed a successful professional rugby career in France, representing both Castres Olympique and Section Paloise. The discipline, teamwork, and composure he developed in professional sport now translate seamlessly into his approach as a yacht chef.
Passionate about fresh, beautifully presented cuisine, Danie designs thoughtful weekly menus tailored to guest preferences, including pescetarian and wellness-focused options. He is particularly known for his artisan breads, brioche buns, and rustic loaves, baked fresh onboard.
Calm, adaptable, and detail-oriented, Danie thrives in the dynamic yacht environment and takes pride in creating memorable dining experiences that elevate your time at sea.
Fun fact: After years of fueling elite athletes on the rugby field, Danie now channels that same performance mindset into crafting dishes that keep guests energized and smiling — proving that whether in the scrum or the galley, teamwork and timing are everything.
