Vivid was developed for self-reliance while circumnavigating the world, a true adventurer, Vivid is an incredible yacht to take you on an adventure, no matter how large or small, you’ll never forget. Built in 2001, she has always been very well loved and maintained.
The deck saloon offers a 360-degree view so you can fully appreciate your surroundings, the windows are opened to let the warm breeze waft through and in the low season shut to keep you cosy in the cooler night air. The two tables dine eight people comfortably. A sun area lies between the pilothouse and helm station. Going below decks you enter the saloon and lounge with an entertainment area and bar for relaxation. Heading aft is the full-beam owner’s stateroom and the two twin guest staterooms, all have en-suite bathrooms. Going forward of the salon is the galley, crew mess and two crew cabins. On deck, forward of the mast is the recessed deck for the dinghy to be stowed while on passage, however once launched it can be converted into a jacuzzi or lounging area.
Jongert in Holland was founded in 1953 and is one of the world’s foremost yachtbuilders, specialising in semi-custom and custom sailing and motoryachts built mainly in steel or aluminium. The Jongert 2700M model is one of their most successful semi-custom sailing designs. Vivid has a aluminium hull with a aluminium superstructure.
In 2012, VIvid returned to the Jongert yard for a full refit/rebuild, which made her “as new.” From new decks, generators and a rebuilt engine to a completely refurbished interior, Vivid was given a new lease on life. In 2016, she paused her world tour for a rig pull, survey and replacement of all standing rigging, as well as new exterior paint. Now with her new owner, winter 2018 will see the upgrades continued with new soft furnishing and water-sports equipment.
Upgrades were finished in 2019/2020 and now she exudes class and comfort with new furnishings and fixtures.
