Captain: Christos Georgopoulos (44)
Captain Christos was born in 1975 and holds Captain's Diploma from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropirgos. His career in the yachting industry started in 1994 and since then he has served as a Captain on board various yachts, both commercial and private, such as M/Y VENTURE,M/S LIANA H, M/Y ZOI & M/Y AIMILIA. He is a particularly equitable, responsible and hands – on person, with a sharp eye for detail. In his free time Captain Christos enjoys water sports, diving and of course spending time with his family. He speaks English and Greek.
Chief Stewardess: Gkioulaki Despina (25)
Despina was born in 1994 and is a Greek national. She speaks English fluently and she is very passionate with sea because of her family tradition. She is very energetic, cheerful and responsible. She was very happy for joining the yachting industry last year, so she decided to continue as well. She has a background in medical and biological laboratories which gives her the ability to cope with a variety of medical conditions that insures the safety on the boat. Her passion for her job, her high sense of hospitality and service make the world of “Iris” go around. She loves dance and gymnastics.
Chef: Alexandros Stavropoulos (37)
Alexandros was born in 1982 and is a Greek national. He has graduated from culinary institute “Le Monde”. He haw been in yachting industry for over 9 years. Beyond that, he has worked in five-star hotel and fine dining restaurants in Greece and Austria. His dining experience in Mediterranean cuisine made him recognise the value and taste of each meal that every guest decides. He prefers simple and tasteful flavors based on Mediterranean ingredients that can create a unique experience. He is highly organized, communicative with a lot sense of humor. He loves martial arts and hiking.
Deckhand: Diamantopoulos Tasos (33)
Diamantopoulos Tasos (Deckhand)
Tasos was born in 1986 and is a Greek national. He is working in yachting industry for more than 4 years.His positive energy, together with an irresistible smile completes the pattern of his personality. Everyone has to say how attentive he is, especially with kids.He is the life and soul of the boat! Tasos holds a speedboat license and a sailor diploma.He also holds a Captain's diploma from Nautical Lyceum of Peireus
Layout
IRIS can accommodate 10 guests in 4 cabins. The Master cabin has a queen size bed, shower and toilet. 2 Guest cabins have 2 single beds, a pullman, shower and toilet. A VIP cabin has a double bed, shower and toilet. IRIS is fully air conditioned through out. Crew has a separate companionway, heads and shower.
