Sail and Work Experience
Lau, a 29-year-old native of a coastal town near Barcelona. He began his career in sailing and water sports such as surfing and windsurfing at a young age and went on to teach them. Subsequently, he studied Navigation and Maritime Science in England, where he attained a Merchant Navy Officer qualification and gained the opportunity to sail around the world. Currently, Lau ensures that all boats have the necessary facilities and comforts to provide those on board with a unique, safe experience.
Job Description
Lau is responsible for the navigation, safety, the overall running and financial management of the vessel, crew and guests. He ensures the safe and efficient operation of the yacht at all times, including compliance with all safety procedures and regulations. He takes care of adhering to flag regulations, port, state, and local laws and regulations, and manages the crew to ensure adherence to, and a full understanding of, the vessel’s policies.
Licenses and Certificates
• Master 3000 unlimited according to the STCW 95
• PADI Rescue diver
• OOW unlimited license
• Chief Officer less than 3000 GT
• International seaman's book
• Medical certificate ENG1

Sail and work experience
Maritza brings a strong background in hospitality and guest service to her growing career in yachting. For over a decade, she built her expertise in customer-facing roles, working as a waitress in London for four years and later specializing in front-of-house reception at a busy Menorca establishment, where she managed check-in/check-out and reservations for up to 800 guests at full occupancy. In 2025, Maritza made the transition into the marine sector, joining Motor Yacht BIG DI as stewardess, where she delivered luxury hospitality service to the owners, maintained interior and exterior areas to the highest standards, and served food and beverages following high-end protocols.
Job Description
Maritza is responsible for the organization, management, and cleanliness of all interiors. She maintains an accurate inventory of all service items and supplies. She ensures the vessel is cleaned and prepared to the highest standards prior to all guest trips. When guests are onboard, she ensures they are properly cared for and that all their requirements are met, with particular attention to discretion, personalization, and detail.
