Captain: Louis Chadwick
Born and raised on the beautiful island of Corfu, Greece, Louis comes from a maritime family, soit was only natural that the sea would become his life’s calling. After completing his education in both the UK and Greece, Louis spent his summers teaching sailing, windsurfing, and waterskiing, developing a deep passion for all things nautical. With a career that has taken him around the globe – from remote corners to world-renowned destinations – Louis has had the privilege of working on high-performance sailing yachts and some of the most prestigious motor yachts in the industry. His wealth of experience, combined with his love for the ocean, makes him an outstanding leader who takes great pride in delivering unforgettable experiences for his guests.Louis and his team look forward to welcoming you aboard Quantum of Solace, where your journey will be nothing short of exceptional.
CAPTAIN IN ROTATION: Don Edwards
Born and raised by the ocean near Lisbon, Portugal, Bruno grew up surfing, bodyboarding, and working aboard a local sailing schooner while studying. After graduating from the Portuguese Nautical School in 1996, he began his maritime career on merchant navy and cruise ships, completing world voyages and gaining extensive command experience. In 2005, he moved to the south of France to pursue a career in yachting, bringing his expertise and passion for the sea to luxury charter vessels ever since. Outside of work, he enjoys surfing, hiking in the mountains with his Labrador, playing football, and spending time with his family and friends. A proud father of two, happily married for 25 years, he embodies dedication both at sea and at home.
CHIEF OFFICER: Anthony Bordoli
Born in Cannes, Anthony was immersed in the world of yachting from an early age — a foundation that naturally led to his maritime career. After four years aboard cruise vessels and completing two full world tours, he transitioned into yachting, where he has continued to grow his leadership and navigational expertise. Between roles, Anthony earned his Divemaster certification in the Gili Islands, Indonesia, further deepening his connection to the ocean. Off duty, he enjoys spending time on the water, hiking, running, and playing football — always pursuing adventure on land or at sea.
SECOND OFFICER: Chris West
Raised between the Lake District and Devon in the UK, Chris developed a deep love for the outdoors, especially the water. With over a decade in the yachting industry, he brings strong experience in navigation, safety management, and deck operations. Chris is also a qualified Dive Instructor with a passion for underwater exploration. His interests extend to wildlife conservation, and he’s often found behind a camera lens capturing marine life. Whether it’s above or below the surface, Chris thrives in nature and enjoys sharing his passion with guests and crew alike.
BOSUN: Callum Prosser (Cal)
Hailing from South Wales, Callum’s lifelong love for the outdoors naturally led him to a career at sea. With several years of experience as Bosun on busy charter yachts, he brings a hands-on approach, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of deck operations, tender driving, and bridge watches. Known for his energy and easy-going nature, Callum thrives in dynamic environments and is always ready to take on a challenge. Off the water, you’ll find him hiking, skateboarding, or chasing new adventures in the great outdoors.
LEAD DECKHAND: LEAD DECKHAND
Megs is originally from Hampshire, UK, and brings a strong background in water sports, luxury hospitality, and high-profile yachting. Since 2022, she’s worked on vessels up to 80m, taking on roles from Deckhand to Bosun and building solid experience in tender ops, bridge watches, and guest activities. Known for her work ethic and calm confidence, Megan thrives in busy charter environments. Off duty, she’s an active snowboard instructor and experienced horse rider, always seeking her next adventure.
DECKHAND: Dale Jaffe
Originally from South Africa, Dale is a highly motivated and hands-on crew member with a strong foundation in marine engineering and deck operations. With experience across tender driving, water sports, line work, and mechanical maintenance, he brings both energy and precision to the deck team. Adaptable, reliable, and team-oriented, Dale thrives in active environments where physical endurance and problem-solving are key. Outside of work, he enjoys deep-sea fishing, staying active, and keeping the vessel in top condition — above and below deck.
DECKHAND: Kieran Swords
Born on the east coast of Northland, New Zealand, Kieran grew up immersed in the ocean—swimming competitively and spending weekends fishing and boating with family. With a background in heavy fabrication and welding, he brings strong technical skills and a disciplined, hands-on approach to life onboard. He’s also a qualified personal trainer with a deep passion for fitness, team environments, and growth. Off the water, Kieran’s attention to detail carries over to his downtime, where he enjoys building intricate Lego cars like Ferraris and classic racers—much to the amusement of the crew.
DECKHAND: Luke Walters
Cornish-born and raised on the rugged coastline of the UK, Luke’s life has always revolved around the ocean. A former surf instructor and competitive footballer, he brings focus, physicality, and a driven mindset to everything he does. Luke has worked on both private and charter yachts, gaining experience with tender driving, water sports ops, and guest service. With a strong background in MMA training and drone photography, he’s known for his high energy, attention to detail, and can-do attitude. Whether it’s working a guest trip or chasing the perfect drone shot, Luke is all about action, growth, and making every day count.
HEAD CHEF: Lucie Martino
Chef Lucie Martino brings over 15 years of culinary expertise, honed in Michelin-level restaurants, high-profile private estates, and on some of the busiest charter yachts afloat. Lucie is known for her creative flair, exceptional organization, and ability to adapt to diverse dietary preferences and service styles. Her extensive yachting résumé includes successful stints aboard M/Y Starship (60m), M/Y Aspen Alternative (50m), and M/Y Endless Summer (50m), among others - ranging from back-to-back charter programs to private owner trips in remote locations like Alaska. Her experience also includes private chef work across Europe and the Caribbean, event management, global sourcing, and overseeing a full galley refit. Lucie is a natural leader—meticulous, calm, and fully committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, creativity, and consistency. Her broad culinary repertoire includes Mediterranean, Southeast Asian, Latin American, and Middle Eastern cuisines, with strong skills in pastry and desserts. Whether it’s plated fine dining, elevated buffets, or casual family-style fare, Lucie approaches each meal with purpose and passion.
SOUS/CREW CHEF: Emma Theunissen
Originally from Melbourne’s Yarra Valley, Emma grew up surrounded by vineyards and the raw beauty of the Australian bush. This upbringing instilled in her a deep appreciation for fresh, seasonal produce and the art of crafting food that nourishes and delights. Emma’s passion for cooking was sparked early and continues to evolve through her travels, where she constantly draws inspiration from global cuisines and new ingredients. Onboard Quantum of Solace, she’s dedicated to fueling the crew with vibrant, wholesome meals — always made with care and creativity.
CHIEF STEWARDESS: Nicola Topping (Nix)
Originally from Cape Town, Nix has over a decade of yachting experience, including running interiors on vessels and managing teams of up to 9 stewardesses. Her background in business and previous work at PwC give her an exceptional edge in both guest service and operational leadership. Known for her creativity, attention to detail, and high standards, Nix thrives on delivering 7-star experiences — from themed events and elegant service to beach BBQs and onboard training. Off duty, she’s passionate about fitness, scuba diving, and property investing.
2ND STEWARDESS: Tessa Moncrieff
From the ‘City of Sails’, Auckland, New Zealand, Tessa brings a unique mix of scientific precision and luxury service to the interior team. With a background in medical microbiology and virology, she previously coordinated clinical drug trials and co-authored published COVID-19 research before making the leap into yachting in 2022. Tessa’s kind nature and quiet confidence make her a valued team member in any setting. Off the water, she has a strong appreciation for natural geography and can often be found hiking volcanic landscapes or exploring vineyard regions around the world.
SPA STEWARDESS: Vaneske Erasmus
Vaneske brings vibrant energy and calm professionalism to the interior team. Hailing from a small farm town in South Africa, she found her calling in yachting through her passion for wellness, service, and the ocean. Her intuitive approach to massage and beauty therapy makes her treatments a true highlight of the guest experience. Alongside her spa skills, she is confident in housekeeping, service, and guest interaction, always delivering with care and attention to detail. Outside of work, Vaneske is inspired by nature, photography, and finding beauty in the everyday — often through her camera lens or quiet time outdoors.
STEWARDESS: Layla Heelas
Originally from Scarborough, North Yorkshire, Layla brings over eight years of hospitality experience and has worked on yachts up to 92m, rotating through service, housekeeping, and laundry. Bubbly, sociable, and detailoriented, she thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences. A keen traveller, she spent time backpacking through Indonesia and has taken cooking classes around the world. Layla enjoys hosting dinner parties, experimenting with new recipes, and is developing a growing interest in mixology.
STEWARDESS: Heather-Lynn Pelser
Heather grew up in Langebaan, South Africa, where the ocean was never more than a few steps away. Her beachside upbringing shaped her love for the water and set the course for her career in yachting, which began in 2023. Known for her vibrant energy and kind, guest-focused approach, Heather thrives in fast-paced environments and brings creativity and warmth to every interaction onboard. Her background in hospitality shines through in her attention to detail and professional poise. Away from work, Heather is both athletic and artistic — she enjoys playing padel to stay active and finds balance at the piano, where she nurtures her love for music.
STEWARDESS: Regan Lotriet
Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Regan followed her adventurous spirit into the yachting industry — and hasn’t looked back. Since joining in 2023, she has gained strong experience across housekeeping, service, laundry, and charter preparation on both private and charter vessels. Known for her bubbly personality, sense of humour, and infectious energy, Regan keeps the crew smiling while delivering warm, attentive guest service. Outside of work, she’s happiest outdoors — fishing, hiking, or camping riverside. With an artistic eye and a love for people, Regan brings colour and connection to every boat she steps on.
CHIEF ENGINEER: Alex Milhinch
Alex is a highly capable Australian/British engineer with a Y3 license and a background in marine diesel fitting. With years of experience across various engine types and systems, he brings strong technical knowledge and a handson approach to engineering at sea. Known for his calm demeanour, sharp problem-solving skills, and a “get it done” mindset, Alex is perfectly suited for the demands of a busy charter yacht. His clear communication and attention to detail make him a trusted asset in highpressure situations. Outside the engine room, Alex is all about the outdoors — enjoying spearfishing, game fishing, water sports, and hiking in remote places whenever time allows.
SECOND ENGINEER: Viktor Hapev
Originally from Estonia, Viktor developed a love for the water early in life—fishing and piloting his own motor boat during his teenage years. After graduating from the Marine Academy, he began his yachting career aboard the iconic SS Delphine, laying the foundation for a strong and versatile maritime career. With experience across both yachts and passenger vessels, Viktor brings a calm, capable presence and a deep respect for the sea. Outside of work, he enjoys winter sports and home renovation projects, always drawn to hands-on challenges—whether on deck or off duty.
ELECTRO-TECHNICAL OFFICER (ETO): Luke Saliba
Hailing from Cape Town, Luke brings a keen mind, calm focus, and a strong technical background to his role as Electro-Technical Officer. With formal training in electrical and electronic engineering, he has hands-on experience in AV/IT systems, refit support, and maintaining vessel-wide electrical infrastructure. Dedicated and self-motivated, Luke enjoys balancing his professional life with time in nature. He regularly sets out on solo hikes, stays active in the gym, and pursues continuous learning through reading and study.
