Operating in the Bahamas and the Caribbean
At the age of 4, Arthur’s parents decided to set sail on their 33 ft sail boat for a quest around the world. Arthur has since lodged more than 160,000 nautical miles sailing, racing and providing high end charters on most corners of the globe.
Arthur enjoys spending his free time on the water; racing sport boats around the cans, kite surfing, wake boarding, foiling, surfing, diving and the occasional trip inland to go wall climbing and off road dirt biking.
When not doing the above, you will find him working on his vintage 1968 trimaran that is ongoing a life long refit, that is when he is not sailing it or racing it.
Arthur’s aim is and always has been to share his sailing adventures along with his passion for good food with all that care to take on the adventure, whether it’s sailing, reading a book, enjoying a leisurely lunch in a beautiful anchorage or exploring and enjoying all the water sports and activities that one could possibly think of.
Caoimhe Brennan is a vibrant Irish native who brings a sense of warmth and comfort to everyone she meets. Born for adventure and travel and true to her Celtic roots, Caoimhe makes a home where ever her heart is, which is now out at sea or wherever she is anchored. She completed the necessary courses and was quickly offered her first job as a 1st Mate and Chef on board, combining her love and passion for the sea, sailing, hospitality, food and cooking. Her adventurous nature and extensive travel brings a collection of unique flavors to not only her cooking but stories to entertain.

Our trip in the Grenadines was fantastic and surpassed our expectations. Our experience would not have been as amazing if it wasn’t for Vincent’s sailing experience, courtesy and meticulous attention to our needs. When anchored for the day, Kayaks or Paddle boards were ready for our use. When planning for a sail, he always briefed us on the trip and path we will be sailing. Nelli’s delicious homemade meals and constant smiles completed this perfect trip. Nellie's meals were delicious, creative and healthy.Breakfast, lunch and dinner were outstanding! Marmot is a beautiful, classic catamaran with great comfort and space. She now holds a special place in our heart. We highly recommend Vincent and Nellie."

The MARMOT crew served as our personal hotel style concierge, listening to what we wanted to do and adjusting the itinerary to accommodate. Being our first trip to the BVI, we asked for their advice many, many, times on every topic imaginable, ranging from snorkeling spots to land transportation to time management to shore bars and on and on. They not only gave recommendations that suited our group extremely well, but were always willing to take time to answer, even when they were busy with meals and sailing the boat. We are already planning our next trip with MARMOT to take us to more of their favorite spots in the BVI!
Melinda and Barry Lewis, Texas - June 2013
Great food, good friends and a crew that blended right in - what more could one ask for on vacation? The MARMOT crew are hospitable and fun loving, easy going and eager to make sure their guests have a memorable experience. They work very efficiently as a team with the Chef involved in the sailing tasks during the day and the Captain even assisting in meal prep in the galley! The captain was also one of the best bartenders we have experienced in the islands!
The Sayres - May 2013
You can say "Your crew is responsible for sailing the boat and preparing your meals." While accurate, that statement doesn't come close to describing what this crew did for us. The effort they put in to anticipate and accommodate our every whim was quite frankly unbelievable. I don't think any of us expected a crew that worked that hard for us from early morning until late at night. We enjoyed being catered to but also enjoyed they put aside their 'chores' to play Catchphrase with us after dinner. They started as our crew but now they are our friends.
The Meyers - April 2013
Having kids on board means constant entertainment. MARMOT's crew have a vast collection of games including Uno, Mastermind, Blokus, Backgammon, Spotify, LFC and Apples to Apples (our kids favorite). Our kids were never bored on this vacation and truly enjoyed having The Captain and Chef worked always worked as a team and showed them the fun world of GeoCaching (modern day scavenger hunts). One can tell this crew were adventurous as kids and wanted our kids to enjoy their vacation with lots of activities. Our Chef on board MARMOT prepared kid friendly meals so no one got hungry or cranky. We especially enjoyed that she had kid dinners early so they could go to bed and watch a movie while we had a quite, romantic dinner later. Captain spent hours pulling the kids on the water toys so they were tired and ready to retire early. Our family had a fantastic vacation thanks to these two hard working crew.
