Rate Details:
Rate reflects accommodations for up to 6 guests (USCG compliant for crewed charters).
Minimum two nights. Day charter requests based on two night rate.
We have a 5 night minimum during the week between Christmas and New Years.
Until December 16, 2022: $2,763 per night + expenses
December 17, 2022 to April 15, 2023: $3,250.00 per night + expenses
April 16, 2023 to July 5, 2023: $2,763 per night + expenses
July 6, 2023 to September 30, 2023: $2,438 per night + expenses
October 1, 2023 to mid-December 16, 2023: $2,763 per night + expenses
The rate includes:
● Private Yacht & Service of the Crew (captain, chef, and first mate)
● Insurance for the yacht and the passengers (civil liability)
● Accommodation in 3 private air-conditioned cabins for a total of 6 guests with en suite bathroom
● Bedding, towels and beach towels
● Water sports on board: snorkeling gear, stand-up paddleboard, floats, fishing gear and tackle.
● First and last night docking fees at Stock Island Marina in Key West
The rate does not include:
● 30% Advance Provisioning Allowance
● 7.5% Florida Sales Tax
● Cancellation Insurance and private insurance
● Food provisions (Client will plan with chef personalized menus according to their preferences with the cost deducted from APA).
● Alcoholic beverages, wines, champagne & spirits, special celebration extras (can be deducted from APA or purchased at client expense or brought on board by client)
● Consumables for the yacht (diesel, fuel and water), mooring fees, customs and clearance fees (deducted from APA)
● Docking or mooring fees during regular charter nights (first and last night of charter included in price)
● Airport Transfers
● Personal Expenses
● Any applicable re-positioning fee based on client request (please inquire)
● Crew gratuity suggested 15-20% of the charter fee
One way repositioning/relocation fees for boarding or disembarks different than home port of Key West.

Additional Information:
You will find your captain and chef extremely capable, accommodating, helpful, and friendly whether you are desiring a classic day sail or planning your one-of-a-kind wedding day.
Boarding Time and Location: Unless otherwise specified in your pre-charter communication, your boarding time will be set at 12:00 PM at the Stock Island Yacht Club, 6000 Peninsular Drive in Key West, Florida where you will board your catamaran. You can opt to stay at the slip as many days as you would like, sail as many days as you want, and come back and forth between the marina as many days as you would like.
Disembark Time and Location: 12:00 PM at the Stock Island Yacht Club unless otherwise specified in your pre-charter communication with your charter reservation agent. You will arrive back at the marina the morning of your disembark date.
Overnight Parking is available at the Stock Island Yacht Club.
Purpus is a Bali 4.1 catamaran, which are famous for their groundbreaking and spacious design provides a huge amount of space throughout the yacht to entertain guests and relax!
The trampolines have been replaced with sun bathing pads - allowing its passengers to maximize the use of the open-plan catamaran. It’s an open-space condo afloat with exceptional ventilation for tropical breezes.

Captain: Matt Dolby
Captain Matt Dolby started his passion for the sea at a young age. Coming from a multiple generation of sailors, he has sailed all along the east coast, Bahamas and the Caribbean and has also owned several sailboats in his life. He also developed a passion for fishing, which pointed him in the direction of becoming a classically trained sushi chef. First a chef and now a well seasoned captain in the Florida Keys, Captain Dolby brings his conscientious work ethic and hospitality to welcome all our guests on board.
Captain Dolby & Mate/Chef Desirae met in Key West through sailing/boating and mutual friends. They created a bond almost immediately sharing the same life goals and lifestyle living and traveling on boats. They both work well as a team, whether on deck or in the galley to give their guests the best experience possible.
Captain Dolby & Desirae always look forward to meeting new people and taking them on new adventures, teaching and sharing knowledge, swapping stories, exploring the underwater world, eating the freshest catches after a day of fishing, and sailing towards sunsets. Both will be happy to discuss your sailing trip itinerary and menu preferences. Their bright personalities and attentiveness will make you feel right at home and relaxed on board Purpus.
Chef / Hostess: Desirae Gavidia
Your Mate & Chef Desirae, a Florida native, has always been around the water her whole life. She found herself with a new passion of the boating and sailing life in the last several years and decided to switch from being a professional massage therapist for over 13 years to becoming a professional mariner in the last couple years working on different boats and yachts and buying her first sailboat a year ago with goals to captain professionally one day. Desirae also really enjoys bringing her food knowledge to the industry and creating an amazing food experience for her guests on board.
