Captain Ricky grew up in a small town along the Garden Route of South Africa, Mossel Bay. Throughout his childhood he spent most of days on the water naturally creating a love for the ocean and sailing. Ricky gained a great amount of experience and knowledge when he decided to sail the globe in 2009 crossing the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean. After this sailing adventure he spent 5 years in South Africa learning about Marine Electronics and Fishing. Ricky’s craving to be back on the ocean started in 2015 when he decided to start his career in chartering. Ricky looks forward to welcoming guests onboard and showing the first hand why he loves doing what he does.
A hard-working and an all-round person, Yuliia gained experience in different industries prior to changing her career path and fulfilling her yachting dream. After getting a degree in economy and management, she had an extensive background in hospitality, working in luxurious hotels and restaurants in Ukraine.
Yuliia boasts a true talent for cooking, developed through professional education in the Italian Cuisine Academy and refined by years of culinary experience aboard luxury charter yachts.
She is a creative Chef with an exceptional attention to detail and provides versatile dietary options to her guests. Although specializing in Mediterranean and Italian couisine, Yuliia draws inspiration from Russian, Turkish, Middle East, Chinese, Thai and Japanese culinary traditions as well.

Luca is an experienced sailor with advanced boat maintenance and engineering skills acquired through various positions on board superyachts and luxury catamarans, including Sunreef Yachts. He grew up in the South of Italy enjoying the sea with his father and uncle fishing. Over the past 5 years, he has extensively sailed the Mediterranean and the Caribbean and crossed the Atlantic Ocean twice.
At the helm of GYRFALCON since her launch, Luca prides himself in providing guests with memorable sailing experience. His professional approach combined with a welcoming personality makes him a reliable and trustworthy Captain who pays special attention to safety and comfort of the guests.

Deniz Akdeniz was born on a sunny Mediterranean coast of Turkey where he grew up in a sailors family, being involved in sailing and repair works from his early childhood.
Prior to joining luxury charter industry, Deniz run his own watersports business in Turkey for a couple of years. But his passion to sailing and a desire to explore the world forged his path to the yachting world. He has successfully worked on a several busy charter yachts in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, constantly improving his skills.
Deniz finds pleasure in cooking and enjoys helping in a galley and treating guests with delicious fresh cocktails. He always keeps a professional attitude to his work and strives to provide the best possible service on board.
Chef Batuhan Gocmez has always carried a passion for cooking as well as a lifelong love of his homeland of Turkey, country with immensely rich culinary history and culture. Batuhan had a chance to work in five star hotels and renowned restaurants in Istanbul, honing skills and replenishing his menu. Driven by the desire to broaden his culinary horizons and learn the secrets of Haute Cuisine, he went to Silwood school of cookery in Cape Town and obtained a prestigious Cordon Bleu Grande Diploma.
After 8 years of working in top notch restaurants Batuhan decided to try his forces in the luxury yachting industry, putting to use all his skills and knowledge in order to make charter vacations an experience of a lifetime. In addition to the Mediterranean, Asian and French cuisine, he finds pleasure to introduce authentic Turkish dishes to those wishing to try something special and focuses on the best possible service.
