Captain: Vince Sims
Captain – Vince Sims has been a captain for 30 years. He has been with Isabella since 2008 with two owners. He has crossed many oceans during his life time of yachting and captain of many type of large vessels. He is an expert sailor and enjoys racing. Guests make comments how safe they feel when they witness his confident calm demeanor and perfect docking skills every time in any condition. Guests are surprised at his age as he looks much younger and is physically fit. Vince is a strong captain. Safety is important and he will refuse owner or guests request if he feels it is unsafe. He completes many aspects of the engineering maintenance and keeps the boat well maintained and in ship shape.

Patty has been with the Isabella since 2008 with two owners. She manages many aspects of operations aboard Isabella. She has many roles on Isabella including chef for owners, manages all aspects of interior operations, including project management, web design, maintenance, multimedia and internet technical issues onboard. She will make guests feel welcome as they board and during their stay. She will provide a five-star personal service to ensure guests are pampered, comfortable, and every need is met.

At age 19 Gil Rodriguez started his career as chef at Morton’s Steakhouse in Puerto Rico. Gil graduated from Skagit Valley College with a Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management degree. He was sous chef chef on the Orient Express, a private train that traveled the US and Canada. Gil was FOH manger for the Keg Steakhouse. Gil began his own business, Gil’s Catering and Chef Services, providing services as personal chefs, restaurant consulting, cooking classes and catering. While in business Gil was the Chef at McIntre Hall Performing Arts Center in Washington. Gil Rodriquez, currently is the Culinary Arts Instructor Department Chair at Skagit Valley College and summer Private Chef for Isabella Mega Yacht.
First Mate: Nat Powning

ASA Certified Instructor
Nat is a native of the pacific northwest and has been a captain for 10 years. He has been with Isabella as first mate since 2015 as needed. He has been a sailing instructor since 2013.
First Mate: Nicholas Peterson (41)
Nicholas Peterson is a licensed 100-ton captain, former EMT and Firefighter, FCC Radio operator and STCW 95 certified. He has been in the yachting industry since 1998 and with Isabella since 2013. He quickly establishes a good rapport with guests. He has extensive experience with chartering on many oceans in the Caribbean, South Pacific, Europe, and the US.
